China Town, Bangkok is one of the largest in the world and should not be missed while in the city. The atmosphere is electric, with the hustle and bustle that comes with the Chinese community. Founded in 1782 and served as the home of the mainly Teochew immigrant Chinese population, who soon became the city’s dominant ethnic group. Originally centered around Sampheng, the core of Chinatown now lies along Yaowarat Road.
I have spent an enormous of time visiting the area and the photographic opportunities are bountiful.
My wife said to me, you must have taken a 1000 pictures since we have have been here in Thailand. But it has been for a month, and everyday is different. I haven’t told her but I have taken more than 2000, so let’s keep this secret to ourselves eh.
Anyways I have put together another collection of pictures called part 5. Once back to the UK i will be thinking of putting together a video and a book of the adventure.
Check out my other photography site for more pictures, advice and tips.
